Julian joined Trove Private Wealth after running his own successful insurance-focused, wealth management and consulting firm. He works with clients as a wealth manager in addition to serving as the director of insurance solutions.
Julian has over 43 years of experience in building a large life insurance-based practice. In 2013, he established his own independent company as a member firm with Valmark Financial Group.
Throughout his working career, Julian has been active in many non-profit groups. His volunteer activities have been on a local, regional, national, and international basis. Julian is a past president of four local associations and was elected to the executive committee of the Million Dollar Round Table (MDRT), where he became president in 2011. He has addressed industry associations, professional meetings, and life insurance companies in 17 countries, and is the author of many articles written for life insurance publications.
Julian is a graduate of Washington and Lee University in Lexington, VA, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in English Literature. Currently, Julian serves on the executive committee and governing board of Touro Infirmary, an LCMC hospital.
Julian is a native New Orleanian, where he lives with his wife, Gina Castellano. He has two married daughters who live in Texas and Maryland.
